| AUTHOR'S NOTES: | This story comes from a brainstorm caused by Oden’s Dark Shadows crossover. When we saw a flustered Phileas wake up from a voodoo trance married without knowing what happened, it got me thinking. When you read the parts about Rebecca’s wardrobe, try to remember that people were much smaller back then. My sister-in-law, who is a size one, would just fit into an officer’s civil war uniform on display at the local museum, and at that she might be too tall for it. Good and varied food has made big changes in the human animal in the last hundred and fifty years. Also, being true to Crusader In The Crypt, I have written General Von Kessler in all his Germanic glory. For those not familiar with reading German/English, the th’s are replaced by z’s and the w’s are replaced by v’s. Silent w’s or w’s that say ow are not changed. |
