| AUTHOR'S NOTES: | Takes place approximately five years in the future. Two years after becoming lovers, Jules and Phileas suffer a serious crisis in their relationship. This is not one of my lighter pieces. For some reason I felt the need to get all angsty and serious with the boys this time and I thought it might be interesting to see how problems could develop in their relationship over time and how they deal with it. If you don't mind slash, I hope you enjoy this. I've used some background from the real Jules Verne's life, but have altered certain facts slightly to suit the story. For example, Edmond Seveste actually died shortly after Jules became the secretary of the Theatre Lyrique and his brother, Jules Seveste, took over. Having two Jules in the story was just too confusing for me, so I stayed with Edmond. |
